Replacement boards for older equipment
When a machine is still in service but its boards are getting old or hard to buy, I can have new bare PCBs or assembled PCBA built from the documentation you have, at vetted partner factories in China.
New boards for equipment still in service
- New bare PCBs or assembled PCBA from your Gerber, drawings or BOM
- Obsolete parts identified, with alternatives proposed for your approval
- Older production files checked and updated for current factory processes
- A few spares for the shelf, or repeat batches when you need them
Old board renewal runs through the same process as any other order: production files, fabrication, sourcing, assembly and testing.
Questions
What do you need from me?
Whatever documentation you have for the board: Gerber, drawings, BOM or a part list, plus photos of the board so I can see what it is. I'll tell you what is needed for production before you pay anything.
What if some parts are obsolete?
I identify each part from its markings and the BOM, and look for the original or a suitable alternative. Any substitute is proposed to you for approval; nothing is swapped silently.
How many boards can you build?
From a few spares up to repeat batches. Tell me the quantity and it will be quoted as such.
Have a PCB or PCBA job? Hand me any part of it, or all of it.
Send your Gerber and BOM, or whatever you have so far. I check it for manufacturability and reply by e-mail with questions and a free quote.
